The restructuring of the Semfa “trading–partner” relationships has been completed with the establishment of a new operational team based in Istanbul under the control of Emre Imer. They cover a full range of products from reliable and dependable partners. In addition to supply sources from the Turkish team, Semfa has structured a strong presence in Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan and as such has (through its partnerships) the ability to supply crude and refined oil products and LPG in addition to a full range of chemicals from reliable and existing partners (chemical groups, refineries and locally based trading companies).

Due Diligence
Semfa has also developed a “due diligence service” to cover both suppliers (not from the existing partnerships) and also potential buyers and traders. There are two basic levels of due diligence covering initial review using easily available resources outside the region or if in depth research is required this is undertaken by lawyers in our partners offices in Moscow. The company is working on a business model to offer this to the marketplace as a paid service which will be unveiled in due course.
